How to add files to this site...
1. Upload files:
- Use the FTP applet to upload files.
- Remember, only upload LEGAL SOUNDS, not songs, or copyrighted material!
- We support wave, aiff, ogg vorbis, flac and mp3 files, but we really prefer wav and aiff ;-)
- If you are a geek (like us) and know how FTP works, you can use any other FTP client and connect to ftp://www.freesound.org/ with your regular freesound username and password.
2. Describe the files you uploaded:
To describe the files you uploaded go to the management page
3. Be patient!!
After describing your files they will be placed in a 'moderation' cueue. This means that a moderator will look at your file before it will apear on the site... Be patient, it might take a while. When the file is added, you will be notified by email.
