hey everyone, I'm new to this site and am just beginning to incorporate samples into my music made on Reason v. 3.0 I'm wondering why some .wav files work, while others don't? The ones that don't work either give the message "Bad format" or "Unsupported format," yet some .wav files that look exactly the same (as far as I can tell) to all other .wav files will work. Can someone help me solve this problem?
An Standard RIFF(micro$oft) WAV file is in raw PCM data stream,
but it"s possible the the RIFF(micro$oft) WAV is in compressed format
The best is to open it with an editor and
re-save/convert as standard RIFF(micro$oft) WAV raw PCM data stream
this is all new to me. my knowledge of programming is nill. is there any sort of free editor available?
Nvm, the FAQ enlightened me. thanks for the help
and a big ups to le quebecois.
