Great! i like it like it is, but a new fresh look will be, well,, fresh

big websites, slow progress, meanwhile - programmers must eat, spend some time with family, and so on. many great ideas died that way or just became outdated. on the other hand, many temporary/provisional solutions and modifications - can survive much longer than great projects. as long as people want to use it - so long it will live and expand anyway.

Next week Monday (September 5) we will switch off freesound "1" for a while and move to the new freesound site. The switch will take between 1 and 2 days, during which things will probably look pretty broken.
Starting this Thursday (September 1) it will no longer be possible to add more files to freesound until the switch is done. This is to allow for some cleanup and moderation time.

He developers, I can't wait. I'm so glad to have my sounds on this realy nice FS2.. Thanks, hope it wil go well. keep my fingers crossed... :lol: :lol:

I don't post much here... but I love the library of sounds. The other day I was bummed when I got an "Under construction" notice when I tried to log in. The 2.0 version looks great.
