Howdy y'all! I'm about to record a few sounds FX with a EV664, and before doing so, have a few questions.
Should audio be normalized to 0db? -6db? -10db?
Does freesound support 24-bit audio and 96kHz sampling rates?

Looking at files already uploaded to freesound I can find quite a few 24 bit/96kHz stuff, so the answer is yes.
I'd say normalising (to any level) is entirely at your discretion. It's usefulness must depend on the kind of material it is, but most downloaders will probably play with the envelope to suit their own requirement anyway. I only work in CD resolution (16 bit) so I tend to do as little digital manipulation as possible to keep rounding errors and digi artefacts to a minimum. (Not that I'm a purist.)
