    Is the spelling checker useful?

The problem is that the spelling checker relies on a lot of crazy javascript and scary php hack things, and ... it has problems with some browsers... Fixing it is hard. Very hard even...

I'd say it is only moderately useful. If it is a headache, axe it. smile

yeah i didn't look very closely at what you were saying when i first read this post, bram. it does help a little, but i would say that if you are spending too many hours just to get it to work for all the different browser types, then get rid of it.

yes and no. it is good for me when i make a typo (i'm a good
speller but not the best at typing) and points that out to me,
but sometimes it is annoying when it keeps on telling me
that "Reaktor" in Native Instruments Reaktor is an error and
I have to see that over and over, for example. Andrew
