    Distributing Sound Files

Hello, I create After Effects Project Files [Animations] and sell my work at a site. You ARE allowed to also give the customer that buys your project the sound files you used in the animation, ONLY if you have the rights to do so of course.

I looked at the FAQ and the Terms of Service / Condition and such and found nothing clear, so my question is:

Am I allowed to distribute and give out the audio sound files along with my product project file as long as I give credit? I can give credit on the description of my project on the site AND in the .txt document included in the project.

BTW, the site is VideoHive.net if you guys are familiar with it. Thanks

I believe your customer's usage of the sounds would also be governed by the terms Freesound licence
"Creative Commons Sampling Plus 1.0" ...

    # You may not use this work to advertise for or promote anything but the work you create from it.
    # For any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others the license terms of this work.
The best way to do this is with a link to this web page.

So I CAN distribute this and give it out with my product as long as I make it 100% clear about FreeSound's Terms of Usage and the CreativeCommons License.
    Correct?

There is also a proviso about commercial use:

    Creative Commons Sampling +1.0 License
#Noncommercial sharing of verbatim copies permitted.

    1. You may reproduce the Work, incorporate the Work into one or more Collective Works, and reproduce the Work as incorporated in the Collective Works. You may distribute copies or phonorecords of, display publicly, perform publicly, and perform publicly by means of a digital audio transmission the Work including or incorporated in Collective Works.
    2. You may not exercise any of the rights granted to You in the paragraph immediately above in any manner that is primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or private monetary compensation.

Also, we are simply freesound members, like you. Nothing we say can prevent any legal action against you from any third parties. We only have the same knowledge you have. For answers to your questions, the one and only comprehensive source of information is the Creative Commons Sampling +1.0 legal code. So please read that for answers to your questions.
