Say I were to release a collection of songs (that have Freesound samples in them) via a .zip or a .rar file. Would it be acceptable for me to include a readme or a credits.txt file with a passage along these lines?

A multitude of samples were used in this production, specifically those of: UserA, UserB, UserC, UserD, UserE, UserF

(and so on, for as many users as I need to credit for their work)

Yeah, I'd say that's enough, if you look at this page, at the bottom, they've done the same thing.
