Hello freesounders,
For them who have a Sony PCM D50 recorder, and all the others, I give you the results of a field-test I did with my Sony PCM D50 recorder with the "TheWindCutter StormChaser WindJacket" as a windscreen.
I hope it is useful for one of you.

Please post your experince with windscreens for this recorder.
That is helpful. I use the Sony and that thing gets a lot of wind, even when inside from moving around. It probably looks like you are carrying around a chinchilla.
It looks like you are carrying around a chinchilla, but it works fine.
ps It doesn't bite.
One more thing I'd like to ask is if you have experience using external mics with the PCM D50, and if you would use an outboard preamp with it? Thanks, Klankbeeld.
I use the Rode SVM (stereo video Microphone) as external stereo mic. That workd fine because it has his own powersupply.
I do not use a preamp.
Others do search on "pcm d50 preamp"
