I want to recreate the sound of the classic slot machine's spin sound.

I have cubase and loads of plugins.
Any recommendations? I really need a quick solution to make this kind of sound for both web and mobile use.
it has that arcade feel to it that the 80s 8bit video games had..
no-one wants to take a shot at this?
The "classic slot machine spin sound" has a lot of sounds as part of it, beeps, clicks, whirrs, and so on. From the sample you linked to, it was impossible for me to tell which specific sounds you wanted.
Also, it would be helpful if you could indicate why the slot machine sounds here aren't suitable for your purposes? What is it for? Why not use a sound from here?
I'm sure these answers would help anybody who wanted to help you out.

Not the whirring..just the beeps and that classic stretching of tone that occurs in between the spins..and it happens randomly!
I need to create two versions. The version for wav audio is fairly easy i was able to get close using a vst synth but would love a more closer sound to original.
i was able to get this output till now-
suggestions to make it closer to original are very welcome bro!
Also i need to do a version for mobile phone as well. marimba, xylophone sound great but they dont sound "classic slot". Any pointers for midi production of this sound would also be very helpful.
I'm not really sure which arcade electronic tone sound you want to recreate or which original you want to get closer to, since there are quite a few different kinds which fit that description. From your description, I don't know myself what you personally are thinking of when you imagine that sound in your head.
If I may suggest, if you go on a pub crawl or arcade crawl until you find a machine with the sound you're after, and then just record it? That might actually be easier, and then you'll not only know more about what you want, but you'll also be able to share an exact example of it when you ask for other recorded versions of it.
You might try to play with the EQ to give the sound some more depth. Just an idea
i was able to achieve this in the end by sampling..
anyways, the next big challenge is to get it right in MIDI...major mind job

I have some slot machine sounds in moderation right now, but it is from a Vegas casino floor. I wish they wouldn't pipe in so much garbage music (All of it was god-damn terrible). I wanted to get the sound of slotmachines all around, but way too much noise pollution. I did manage to find a few out of the way areas of the casino, but still fell short of my original goal.
I really should record my mom's Reno nickel machine by itself, but I think it was having some electrical issues stopping it from firing up correctly.
Here's how to do it in logic....
use the Arcade attack preset
in the synth:
Turn glide off
Turn down decay to maybe 30
In the instruments:
Turn off chorus
Turn off any reverb bus outputs
Add an arpeggiator, turn it to "random"
play a cmajor (c, e, g, c) at about an 1/16th on the arpeg at about 120bpm
You can try in Cubase to get a simple triangle wave with an arpeggiator, I haven't used Cubase in a while so I'm not sure how easy it is to strip down their synths
Simple, no reverb, no chorus, turn down any effects, just a dry triangle wave with an arpeggiator.
Oh and a downsampler, make it 8 bit, since that's probably what it was playing at
