Hi, I do mix from time to time and I would like to get a little bit more professional. I would like a DJ intro with my name (DJ Maxify). It could be anything as long as there's my name in it. I'm open to everything, I'll credit the maker in every mix I'll do in the future, Thanks
I would like something similar to the intro at the very beginning of this mix : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7Gh0mB9QuQ&feature;=channel_video_title
Did one, hope you like it.

I didn't upload any idea because there are quite some editing possibilities (volume, timing) but I assume it's easy to change and maybe fun too, to try for yourself with the help of a free downloadable program such as Audacity.
I imported the Klankbeeld sample 3 times in a row in Audacity (what you then see on the screen is 3 tracks with the same sample).
Then moving the second and third track a bit forward in time (one a bit further than the other, just fractions of a second), to get a kind of vocal doubling effect. I panned the first one center, the second and third ones right and left.
Also altered the volume of each track but only slightly.
I've had a listen to some of your mixes on Soundcloud and they aren't boring for a second and a lot of interesting stuff happens in them. Is the one on Youtube by a DJ Maxify also yours?
Is there a certain amount of bpm that you prefer to use most?
Maybe if I got the vibes I'll upload something like a sound that you can use in combination with the vocal. I was thinking about a bassdrum that's deep (slowed down perhaps) and sounds like a ball that's bouncing, but with very much effects stuff over it to stretch it out in time. Just a very rough idea. I assume it has to be musically neutral (i.e. only things that have rhythm, but as little tones as possible?).
Thanks a lot for the positive feedbacks about my mixes And yeah, I used to be on Youtube before Soundcloud. I Usually go for 128 BPM on my mixes and yeah something neutral would be nice so I can play it a few times during live sessions but an intro with rhythm can also be used at the beginning of my mixes. I really like your idea so keep going ! (And I'm downloading audacity right away !)
