Morning,
I have some 3D letters on a brick wall, then 3 letters fall off to reveal a new word. You don't see the letter hit the ground just fall off the wall.
Any suggestions for a suitable sound effect? The letters themselves look plastic, but I think I could get away with any surface to surface scratching maybe?
Thank you.
whoosh?

Thanks, but not really appropriate - doesn't really convey the solidness. I was thinking more a scratch, or brick on brick noise, or blocks?

Nice find. Thank you. I'll see if I can re-edit to a second for each. Thanks again.
had a quick go ... http://www.freesound.org/people/Timbre/sounds/140271/
if it's falling, and scraping all the way, the pitch will increase exponentially as it accelerates downward, which is anti-intuitive, (certainly anti-cartoon which would use a slide-whistle with decreasing pitch).

Thank you Timbre. I'm going to try the third remix of 140271 - thank you for taking the time.
