    Radio jingles Request

    Hey guys !

I really enjoy this Forum. I posted a couples of times, and people here are very generous and know what they do.

Ok, so my request today is kinda simple. I started a webradio called 'Dubtrinity Radio'.

I would like 3 differents jingle for it.

1- ''Dubtrinity Radiooooo : the number 1 dubstep radio of all time''
2- ''DTR ... dubtrinity radiooooo(someone who sign it a girl or a boy, or both)''
3- ''Stay tuned on Dubtrinity Radio for more of it !''

you can make more ! I know you guys can do this for me. I would appreciated a lot if you give me it not only the voice, but with SFX in it like we can ear in the real radios. I dont know how to do it myself, I hope someone who know will help me.

    Thanks,
    DRONKO

I recorded some voice-over for it, but it has no background music: http://www.freesound.org/people/tekgnosis/sounds/146597/

You might need to chop down the p's, b's and t's...for some reason my pop filter wasn't doing me any good tonight. sad

You could try adding extra layer(s) of fabric to the pop shield to reduce the plosives
( e.g. “tights” aka “pantyhose” aka “support stockings”).
Changing (increasing) the distance of the mic from the pop shield will help,
Changing the position and angle of the mic is also worth a try,
e.g. at eye level rather than at mouth level to keep it out of the plosive jet-stream.

    “ p's, b's and t's ” are plosives ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plosive

A pop filter is used to prevent them being too loud ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pop_filter

I would record it today, but I'm coming down with a cold/flu. sad

My voice is extra deep and super gravelly...not really great for radio style announcements. sad

If you can wait, I can try to record it again on the weekend, or early next week.

Or, if someone else wants to take a stab at it, they might be able to help you out sooner?

    Sorry about this sad

For sure. I got a new mic two weeks ago, and I'm still trying to figure out the placement of it, vs. the gain/levels, for each type of sound. Once I get this ironed out, I should be able to tweak the plosives and see if I need to use a different pop filter (I have a few, but liked the style of the one that came with the mic...but if its 'free', then perhaps its not the best choice).

Thanks for the tips...tights over the new pop filter might be what I go for in the long run!
