You hear it alot in film previews.
The images on the screen flash up faster and faster and while it does that it sounds like strings are doing a crecendo up.
Something a bit similar to this at 17 seconds in - 20 seconds
But something more prounced and a bit longer. Hopefully someone can sort of understand what i mean.
Basically a rapidly rising string crescendo that climaxes to nothing. Anyone know anything like that?
Thanks Chris
Type glissando here http://www.freesound.org/searchText.php
accelerating crescendo , not strings though ... http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=75012
Thanks for the replis. I was looking for something along those lines. Maybe with a choir, its usually used in thrillers/horros when something is happening and its a quick glissando using a choir/strings really high untill it screaches. If that makes sense? Dunno if anyone has heard anything like that on here Thanks again for the replies!!
You can put up links like normal, they're not edited out:
this is the vid you mean.
Only restriction is you cannot put links in your very first post on the forum. But after that, you can just fine.
