Hi all,
I'm building a video game, and I'm looking for a sound from the holodeck phaser range on Star Trek the Next Generation. You can hear the sound at 0:44 in this video:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=notJt3xeDKs
The sound I'm looking for is simply the successive, fast monotone beeps when the shooter hits a target (do do doo).
Perhaps a little slower would be ideal?
Is there anything like that in this database? I'm not really sure what to search for.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-joshua

Hello cometlinear,
i did something similar in MilkyTracker. Here is my 1st Try with that Sound/s:

If you like it, i can upload it to the Freesound Database . If not, what do i need to change? (the Frequency of the Main Sine Wave? The Speed of the "Bleep"-Effect? etc.)
EDIT: here is Try Number 2:

Soundfull Greetings,

Hey guys,
Those are both great sounds!
I particularly like the morse code. If I could find that same tone ( . . _ ) , for the letter "U", it would be exactly what I'm looking for
Thanks to both of you !!
Best,

Thanks Timbre, that's a great sound. It works well.
Can I post one more request? It's my last one.
I'm looking for a "clink" "chink" sound like you hear in the video when the targets are fluttering around.
I'm not sure what I should even be searching for. Would you have any suggestions?
Thanks!!! All the best,
-joshua
Thanks Timbre!!
Those are good. I also found this one:

One of them will do just fine.
Thanks again for the all the help!
Kind regards,

For the moving targets you could try modifying this,
e.g. alter the equalisation (high pass), filp the channels to make the object fly the other way.
Timbre
Speeding this up and applying a high pass filter produces a chirp clink sound.
