Hey,
how does a chaingun type machinegun sound when you have run out of shells and the thing is still spinning?

been looking around for mechanical spinning sounds and some clicks but now running out of hope.. anyone got an idea?
cheers!
@Timbre: thanks, that would have been nice for a more abstract project, its very synthetic. Im looking for a raw mechanical metal feel..
@higginsdj: that's a good idea, im trying to combine it with a manual sewing machine now
@CGEffex: yea! im exited!

Timbres' version sounds like a weed wacker to me.
Personally, I think both of them sound great. I bet it would be perfect if they were blended together. Maybe 70% CGEffex and 30% Timbre for extra background depth. If I had the talent, I'd try to blend them for you... Both are awesome, though.
Awesome! Thanks, that sounds pretty accurate to what I'd have imagined... Great job from both of you, but especially CGEffex for mixing AND recording.
Hey - sorry for the late reply, but thanks a lot for the sounds - they fit very well!
sounds cool... I would use 0% Timbre's sound because it sounds maybe like a diesel truck running out of fuel in outer-space.... nothing like a minigun however...
