Thanks for the suggestion timber but it's not exactly what I wanted.
When I was small I used to watch an anime called "Naruto" and this character had this move called chidori. I'm working on a video and I want to use that same sound.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyQi0N3zuGU go to that site and listen to it.
No I don't want him screaming of the background music I just want the lightning sound and the screech.
Thanks in advance.
OK, Still trying to develop my ear but here is what I think I can hear:
http://www.david-higgins.com/sound/Chidori.wav
Left Channel (Screech) is Acclivity's Blue Tit Nest Box sound (soft volume parts trimmed, compressed, Echo Added, and then reversed)
Right channel (Lightning/Crackle) is Aust_Pauls Electrocution (trimmed, repeated, pitched up a little and HPF run over it a few times to remove all the low end)
I then applied a bit of manual volume variation over each channel (all done in Audacity)
Cheers
David
I still think Chipfork's sparks are closest to the lightning on the video, here's my Chidori-ish attempt using chipfork's sparks.
(the original Chidori sound has synthesised tweets which slow-down : a sweep-down effect)
