Hi - I am wondering which program offers the most complex/best sound wave visual? I am also looking for a program that will create the sound wave as a video - ie. similar to a talking equalizer only with the the wave visual instead of the rising and falling columns.
All suggestions welcome!

Foobar 2000 is a player that lets you see the sound as a spectrogram

or oscilloscope

if that is any help.

If you want something for free then just use Audacity and record that part of the screen waveform playback using CamStudio http://camstudio.org/blog/camstudio-25-beta-1-released. This is an easy to use freeware video screen recorder which can be adjusted to record any part or area of your screen. Wink
