Hi Guy's,
I'm looking for the sound of a body falling through a trapdoor as the poor soul is sent on his way to meet his maker. The sound needs to feel heavy and perhaps a fraction longer than the actual time it would actually take. This sound, which concludes the drama and is in a blackout scene, needs to convey the gravity (scuse pun) of what has just occurred and in itself will come as a surprise to the audience. So it needs to convey dread, finality and significance. Many thanks in advance. What a fabulous resource - well done to all. Pat
uploaded two files of a the body falling.
Will be online in a few days. depends on privat agenda of the moderator LG.

If you mean hanging then look for "gallows" "rope stretch" and "wood creak" (maybe in other sound libriries).

so there will be the sound of the lever mechanism being operated pre-drop.
Hope it is what you want.
Good luck with it.

Its still not very convincing though: would a hanged person make any vocalization ? (their airway is obstructed).
Rope stretch, neck snap and wood creak could be added .

nicely done Timbre. But I read nothing about a hanging.
That's why I've made it that way.
Hi Timber - and thanks also. You make a good point about the airway and if you would hear the last gasp of the dying (hung) man. Perhaps not - I don't know! But I liked the dramatic feel of the last gasp.
I'm having trouble listening to the remix. It downloads OK and I can see the wave form, but it's not playing! I'll struggle on. Have a great one guys......
