I just uploaded a file a few days ago but was not able to describe the sound - no page opened up for me. It's still pending - do I need to wait until it is approved to describe the sound? Thanks.

Have you been contacted by any of the moderators in relation to that sound?

I cannot see it in the moderation queue. This means either one of the other moderators has picked it up (and has contacted you or will do so shortly) or that there was a problem uploading the sound.
We experienced some problems with sound uploads recently.

I will also inquire about this with the support team and let you know.

Please don't feel ignored: they are really busy so it is normal that they take a bit of time to reply.
