I'd love some criticism as I've only been making music for the past year on my computer.

It was decent, I have less of a pallette for some of the more abstract music as I get older... It's hard to tell someone how to make "THEIR" music better. It is what it is.... I think you could energize some of the tracks with a little more instrumentation flow and you would have some really neat stuff there.

Overall, nice work... especially with a year of experience. I did not have all this amazing technology at my disposal when I started transcribing notation into a Commodore 64 around 25 years ago. There were no CD burners, internet or VST plugins. I could only imagine where I would be today if I was starting creating music today... WOW. I am still learning since trumpet lessons in 4th grade and it is a never ending process... keep growing as a musician and you will make better music every time (except for the occasional SHIT song! I just cannot delete a file!).

Coolest track was "Don't Change" in my opionion. I like anything different but listenable. Some music out there is great to drop LSD to and stare at the flashing lights with but give me groove and a nice melody once in a while that I can drive to... all music styles have their places, it's how many places they each have that makes them timeless...

It's hard for me to criticize other's work as I consider myself an eternal begginer, and its also hard for me to write about it because english is not my language :? , but I'll try to give you my opinion:

In general terms I agree with most of the words from NoiseCollector. And I think you have a good sense of "space" in music. Instruments and melodies certainly "breathe" through your tunes, and that is not easy to do. I would say there is a very intelligent selection and combination of sounds. I really like them.
On the other side, I also agree that maybe some of the tunes need some kind of "punch" (or energyze them, as NoiseCollector said) because they tend to float around for a while and then disappear.
Overall: Congratulations! If that is your first year's work, that's great! keep on!

oh. my favourite: Night in Seoul

Hehe, Night in Seoul was my first track I made in Live ever. I had no idea what I was doing. I samples sounds of the tops of kitchen pans bulbing in and out and used those as beats. I had no education in terms of digital sound processing and I had no idea what the red meant. So I think that track even clips a lot.
