This fellow has been visiting our neighborhood every summer for the past five years at least. He picks a tree and stays in it every night for the last week of June through till the first week of August, and sings his heart out all night. I recorded this in June 18, 2009. You can hear all the different birds that are native to our area in his song. I know that it's probably generations of him, but I love him all the same. I recorded by leaving my Olympus DS-2 digital stereo voice recorder on top of the fire hydrant near his tree. It was sound activated so that the pauses in the recording are not too long.
