I went to record at a wildlife refuge today and I expected it to be quiet but unfortunately a huge train would pass every few minutes and also airplanes were constantly flying around. But in any case at one point this spotted-towhee came close to the mics and with a highpass filter it became an ok recording. He made two types of sounds, which was nice of him to share.
Recorded with a pair of AT4021 mics into a modified Marantz PMD661 and edited with Reason.
