Some very strange sounding birds in the Oregon coast range forest. There is some slight noise reduction applied, but they did really sound like that. And it was raining a bit.Recorded with Zoom H4 on-board mics.

what a wonderful sound. I love it. I used it as a kind of fanfare between acts in an extended ambient looping/world music piece of Pianet. The recording is here https://soundcloud.com/ivodne-galatea/sets/the-rest-of-the-world

what a mysterious ambiance, like coming from a distant planet. That sound at 0:47 is particularly cool!
