I just looked up a modern phones frequency output for example a modern Htc one has Frequency response, speakers 230 Hz to 10 kHz, ±3.5 dB
Now I realise how silly my description of this file was & I have to laugh at myself - there is probably no phone out there (or device that I know of) that could or would play back this file or any recorded sound at the frequency dogs hear and that we cannot hear I just thought at the time it would work not having taken the above output into consideration.
Daimon-zero “... I superimposed or mixpasted copies of each of the phrases I spoke which were a fifth down and a third up, respectively onto the first recorded spoken phrase ... ” . Ah so a bit like qubodup's, "scary robot" effect ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TWZb0QfJh0 Your effect has a harsher quality though , (that's not a criticism).
Your mp3 has a credit in a recent film I made about a few > beetles I found a top bar bee hive recently. I hope the film > doesn't give you nightmares. Much appreciated! > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pI8-zCMm2ss
Sorry I dont mean to advertise ( I dont work there ) or misinform - so to clarify I was referring to Tower Records in Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, Ireland and a lot of that music on vinyl was well... a very mixed bag.
Thank you mon3y for your feedback I think this one is from the end of African Queen (with Hepburn and Bogart) or maybe Prosperos Books (John Geilgud had the title role) which I recorded from vhs somehow
