This is the same recording as thunderstorm(1) applied with some compression which sounds more impressive in my opinion. I seems to by that most speakers cannot handle such dynamics without compression.Pls also look for the uncompressed version - thunderstorm.flac
Recorded with: RME Multiface + RME Quadmic + 2 MBHO MBNM 410 omni microphones. Distance to each other about 50cm.

  Excellent! Agree about compression. Also, sometimes all you want is the thunder itself. At low levels, this is great for, say, a storm in the next valley over.

  Thanks a lot. I was born in a valley where there are often thunderstorms during the rainy season, and I love the sound of thunder since I was a kid. I love this!
