I needed a sound for someone getting hit on the head with a fire extinguisher. It's a fire extinguisher hitting a small concrete block wrapped in canvas. It doesn't sound quite right, but it makes a good starting point. It was recorded with a cheap condenser microphone onto a portable Sony MD recorder (MZ-N707).

  Too much dead air at beginning, but nice "THUD" sound.
