This whip effect is made up of two elements - the whoosh sound is a USB direct link cable twirled in the air. The Pop is a shortened recording of a BlackCat small firecracker - both recorded with a Sony ECM-99 Stereo microphone to SonyMD. A re-verb was added to increase a feeling of depth.
