I'm glad to hear you made an 'adventure' in our country. Not just a boring sightseeing tour. Great.

One of the first things I wanted to try after riding on the Shinkansen was find a place where I could get close to the track while it was at full-speed.
I asked a Japanese friend where we could do it, so we drove off into the countryside near Nagoya looking for the perfect spot. I can even remember it was a Daikon field, the train was on a mound about 3 meters high and we could get very close :)
...afterward we went and had Mossburgers and then went to get Mr Donuts (obviously hungry :) I had the Custard Cream ones (fututsu!)
I have spent quite a bit of time in Japan, my favourite country to visit! Always unpredictable, always interesting and fun.

You have good ears. Yeah, each train has 16 carriages for sure. More than that, I'm surprised to know that you've been to Japan and seen it passing nearby. As you say, that's like an airliner not likely to take off.

Ha, I think I can also hear 16 carriages on the train...cool! :)
