A distant and large boom with lots of low frequencies, used in film. Listen on appropriate speakers, on those small computer desktop speakers it will be barely audible.

Maybe you can use samples DD1.mp3 and DD2.mp3 too, low rumbles to build up tension or Generator1.wav (3 versions) for a nice low evolving drone.

Check my TrailerDrum pack, you might find them useful too.

(Non-commercial use only.)

Don't forget to donate to Freesound ;-)

@PLaGuE CeLL: maybe, maybe not. There are many large booms around. I'm sure mine is used in dozens of commercial productions if you see the number of downloads. Naughty indeed.

What can I say, one of the most versatile bass booms I've ever used. Has a certain mojo that always works.

I think I might have found uncredited, likely commercial usage of the sound too in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvrTmzzGwu8

...at 1:17 when the helicopters blades go into slow motion. Naughty them.
