This is a dual mono recording of an air conditioning unit blowing. The medium was minidisc but the recording is acceptable. It was a shotgun mic but I can't remember the make. The clip fades in but the ending could be easily looped.

  A nice recording. When I was a kid we had an air mover installed in the ceiling with
  the attic above. It was a large fan, maybe 6 feet in diameter. Very low-pitched
  fan noise.
  Maybe one day I will find a sound like that here.

  Nice subtle sample, this one. Great for ambient sounds that don't detract from the main soundtrack.
