This was recorded about one km from the beach, in Henne (a small town at the danish west coast). The recording took place about 9am, and it was rather windy, so you can easily hear the beach and its waves not far away.
Recorded with a Olympus ls-100 and its internal mics, covered with a woollen blouse, as i had no wind jammer with me today.

Thanks Inchadney :)
It was recorded while i was on a coffee break, when at work. Juuuust before every tourist in Henne beach woke up, so no traffic noise. But the beach waves are too far away, i'll give you that. But the atmosphere was nice, and i thought i'd record it. Next project is to get a wind jammer, but perhaps i'll make one myself, with foam inside. I think the internal mics are too close to the actual "fur" otherwise. We'll see how it turns out though... or more accurate, hear how it turns out :)
Klankbeeld, I think the next buy is a good deal out in the future. I've been saving up for quite some time, to get my hands on this recorder. Part of the reason, for making my own wind jammer too. Cash flow is really low now ;)

Congratulations to the new recorder! : ) Nice track...but get closer to the sea ; ) and as a windshield the dead kitten from Rode might work!
