Field-recording made during morning in May, 2009. The sound of the city can be heard but a blackbird is singing its song regardless of the noise of traffic and other urban things. I recorded this because I started taking notice of this blackbird who is singing regardless of what happens. The location is in the middle of the city with much concrete and only a few trees here and there. But that is enough reason to sing, or so it seems. I love it. Sony PCM-D50
