It's dawning. Morning birdsong. Distance about 100m. Disturbed by some artifacts left after noise reduction. Zoom H2 rear (too much noise for this type of recording)

Aha, so the echo *is* an artefact, I was wondering if you'd added echo and why...

This is compromise between noise and artifacts. In fact Zoom H2 isn't suitable for recording quiet sounds like distant bird, the difference between noise and sound was about 10-12 db. After some experiments i get satisfactory result. It was recorded at 4 a.m. and these birds sing always so slow. I don't know the name of bird, but it's very popular.

You're right about the artifacts, but they aren't that bad. There is a slight echo occasionally. Maybe better to upload the noisy original and let each user deal with it themselves. :-)
Very clear tone. Was the bird really singing that slowly or did you slow this down? It seems almost melancholy, like evening rather than dawn.
