Again, this is a plastic soda straw in a 32-oz. plastic soft drink cup being scraped up and down in the lid, in my quest for a Godzilla/Cloverfield gigantic roaring monster sound. The lower sounds are pulling the straw out and the higher sounds are pushing the straw in. Recorded with a Logitech USB mic and run through Audacity with gverb and pitch changes. Some of the tracks (there are about 4 or 5) are also reversed.

Love this. I almost didn't even listen when I read how it was made. But this is just what I was looking for to add to a Claymation movie.
