This is the end of a heavy thunderstorm, at the beginning of the recording it is hearable the last thunder(unfortunatly). During the recording is possible to hear also some cars. The recording was made using a Roland R05 mounted on a tripod facing to a hedge.

This is a lovely, atmospheric recording. Yes, there is only one loud peal of thunder, at the beginning, but, to my ears, there are frequent very distant rumblings and grumblings of thunder right to the end. I might even use this recording with the loud bit clipped off, to add to my collection of ambient sound recordings for use when I'm in bed at night and when it's too cold for me to have the windows open and so it's otherwise too quiet and aggravates my tinnitus. Very distant thunder has its own beauty and 'poetry'.
