Oh sorry I ve basically mixed other snares sounds. They re ridiculously old and I have probably used mostly my old ones but i use to saturate sounds quite a lot. I cant help it!!!!
Youre right, ive also tried to record a big book and a table and a lot of stuff. But i found recording domestic stuff very difficult because its usually not loud enough. And i cant afford a very good microphone.
BUT HEY, ENJOY THESE AND GET AS MANY AS YOU CAN. Im very happy with tom tom 14 and 16. Those were recorded in a studio and they go very well with the fat snare of god. It sounds heavy init.(theyre actually not 14 and16 but smaller)
Thanks you for your feedback!!!!

I agree this is a rather convincing snare sound.
I have downloaded the pack :-)
Thanks!
Interestingly, recreating snare sounds is something I have tried to do myself sometime ago.
You did not say what sounds you mixed to create this 'snare'. I found that mixing the sound of hitting a plastic bag (a carrier bag, the type you get in supermarkets) and hitting a cardboard box or a table top can produce fairly good results.
