One of a selection of modest recordings, gathered whilst on an exchange with the British Library Sound Archive.
Field recording taken on the walking path of Regents Canal, London, at point of Victoria Park exit/entry, 25th May 2013 - day of a festival. Recording is in stereo and has very effective natural movement from left to right and vise versa, as joggers, walkers, bike riders etc pass by. It was taken alongside the Canal, at a point where the sounds of the festival music would come and go, between audible and inaudible as per the winds natural manipulations.
Volume deviates quite a bit. I liked the natural effect and recorded at a flat input level.
All volume fluctuations are completely natural.
Recording device: Zoom H2n
Microphone: Rode NT4 (stereo)
