This is a close stereo recording of the famous " ding " made by the M1 Garand clip when it's empty.
You have to know one important thing: in our country, military weapons are extremely prohibited. Thereby, we are forced to record some audio from videos, on YouTube, about weapons ( for gunshots ). Afterwards, we clean and improve the recorded sound, with filters, reverbs, compressors/limiters, etc...
In brief, this sound was not really field-recorded by us, but recorded from a YouTube video. However, we did a pretty good job on the sample ( we removed some background noises, voices and footsteps sounds, for example ). So, we wanted to share the result with the Freesound Community.
