Simulation of the "pips" used for years by the BBC radio programs to provide an hourly time signal. Created in Cool Edit Pro. 5 1000 Hz beeps of 0.1 Sec, and a 6th of 0.5 Sec.
Thanks Acclivity Ive been trying to get round to recording them myself but its always when Ive been in bed at 12 oclock at night when I hear them and am reminded and then its too late to get out of bed.
Brilliant - thank you
Thanks for this, saves me creating a new copy myself for a radio play. Anybody wanting to simulate the pips as broadcast in the UK before 1 Jan 1972 should remember to replace the long 6th pip with another short one.
Thanks so much...
Thank you! Also used by the English Radio programme here in South Africa up until around 1990, or so...
