Basically took the previous Punchy Snare and added reverb, a lil bit more compression, then tried an experiment based off an interview I read of Australian Producer Airwolf, routed snare to a dry channel and also an auxiliary channel with tape saturation hit to the max on it. The results were very satisfying and this can definitely stand heavy mixes without very much mixing needed. This snare has a very nice body, but I suggest though getting rid of the highs and replacing it for a swish or a whoosh noise on the high end to make a really Skrillexy sounding snare.
