I've been through more than 3000 entries and have finally found a most useful one, this one -- a quiet crowd, attentive, and in this case waiting. I needed that kind of ambiance to add to a lecture recorded twenty-five feet from the lecturer, using the high-quality camera's stereo mike. (the direct feed failed at the last minute.) In ProTools, I used the Wave anti-hum and de-noiser to clean up but still had an undifferentiated, rather present room sound. This sample should (if low-cut) cover this up. Thanks.
