Stereo ambient recording of the Duveen Galleries at the British Museum. These galleries contain sculptures from the Acropolis in Athens. This recording is of the gallery containing the sculptures from the Parthenon frieze, which are usually understood as the 'Elgin Marbles'.

No matter how many times I listen to this 60-second sample, I never hear the sample twice the same way. It's amazing that way.

    hey andrew,
    i love those recordings,
when you can feel the ambiance, the poeple, the air... its like a sonic travel...
i think you should add the tag 'field-recording' to those files, so that they will be easier to find. i hope you dont mind i add the first one... :)
what kind of microphone are you using?
