Hi, thanks! It is an amazing experience to hear all those details of the sounds from the enviroment. You should try! :-) There are some different equipments to make field recordings, depending on the purposes or the money. Particularly I'm using a portable recorder, Zoom H4n, with its internal microphones and the headphones Sennheiser HD-25 to hear the field recordings and enjoy the sounds. You can find many information on the web about field recordings and phonography, with different recorders, microphones, complements... and different techniques. realy great project. I do these recordings in my small country Holland. Hope you record a lot more in the future.
