This is the sound of a vintage mechanical telephone's dialing mechanism. The number dial is turned and a spring causes it to wind back. Some slight noise reduction applied. Recorded in the summer of 2008 with the Olympus WS210S digital stereo recorder.Recorded in an antique shop in Wigan, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
