The sound of marine snapping shrimp in the ocean at an Australian boat-ramp. This uses a home made hydrophone, see comments. Recording chain: digifish-stereo-hydrophone (mic) - Edirol R-09 (24 bit 44.1 kHz)
Thanks. And there's plenty more ocean to record from out there, next plan is to extend the mic cable so I can toss it out into the surf...
YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN - found an amzing new sound [well new to me and most] and also put a lot of work and knowledge in to get it. Brilliant. This is what makes frrsound so good - I get up in England and out of my PC speakers comes the sound of snapping shrimp!
