Just an experiment. Dropped spanner recorded at 192 kHz to preserve maximum ultrasonic frequencies. I can see ~45 kHz in my spectrum analyzer. Transposed 16 x slower to bring these down into the audible range. Recording chain: Mics, Audio Technica AT3032 stereo pair - Edirol R44 digital recorder (24 bit @ 192 kHz converted to 16 bit @ 44.1 kHz in Edison). PS: Ignore the 196 in the file name, I made a mistake, that Freesound does not let me correct :P
