This is an updated version of my first snare sample with less "thump" mixed in. I think it sounds better.

I made this snare using three samples: a ruler snapped against a desk, flicking a piece of paper in mid-air with my finger, and tapping on an empty plastic container. Other than some pitch-shifting and time-stretching, the only effect used was several instances of EQ.
