Binaural recording of Pine forest ambiance, with birds, wind on trees, and buzzing insects. This was done with a pair of Soundman OKM mics (covered with a DIY wind screen) placed at each side of a tree trunk, and plugged into an iRiver H120 recorder. The rig was then left unattended. The 16bit original was high-pass filtered and most hiss from mics removed. The stereo image is very nice, you can compare with the mid-side sample. Uncompressed sample available upon request
