Spitfire flying past, manoeuvring and back, over the English countryside. I was recording birds and this must have been on a training run. Not at an airshow.Sennheiser MKE300 and HiMD, some eq to compensate for the LF drop of this mic at low frequencies.

    Fantastic sound Graces Spitfire was delivered to our RAF Selsey in West Sussex uk ALG IN 1944.

    Hi Ermine, love your recording of the spitfire. I am going to use it on a Youtube video of a slightly worse for wear spitfire that had crash landed! I will put your name and link to freesound.org. I hope that's Ok.
