    Thank you so much.
Beautiful! Just like the one the monks use at my Buddhist Center.
Did a bit of noise cleaning with audacity and now I have it as the timer sound when I meditate at home.

Thank you for sharing this sound. I found it to use for an art project -- openprocessing.org/sketch/125095 -- and became so attached to it, I set up my computer to play it randomly every 30-60 minutes. It brings me such calm, and transports me better than any other bell sound I found.

Hahaha, Jackjacko: when I move to the country, I'll re-record. As it is, I'm in a city and living in a factory, and...you gets what you gets here, even very early in the morning. Frankly, I find its imperfection lovely and perfect. If you want, I can upload the raw .wav and you can apply some noise reduction for posterity :)

Thanks so much for making this freely available; I've been hearing this exact bell at the end of my meditation sessions courtesy of the timer mentioned earlier in the comments. I can now make it my alarm clock sound and begin each day with a powerful reminder to practice mindfulness.
